Home for the Holidays Card

Posted by Sara Vukson on

Holiday time always gets me back into a crafting mood.  I'm going to share a quick card I made using three RubberMoon stamps. When I came across the home for the holidays stamp I had to start stamping right away.  It's just so sweet!

Stamps Used

For the blue background I used watercolor paper and painted it with blue watercolor and then stamped the word "merriment" all over it.  (The Merriment stamp is on the end of the cute bulb and star stamp in the photo below.) Then I stamped out the Home for the Holidays stamp, put little bits of watercolor on it and cut it out. Then I glued the house to the blue background and added pink paper to frame it.  On the cardstock I scattered some snowflakes with blue ink, pasted the pink paper onto the card and added a sparkle pink heart. Sweet and simple.

I am happily sponsoring a PRIZE for this week's WoodBlock Wednesday Link Party.  You should visit Amy Tsuruta's WoodBlock Wednesday blog for some great inspiration and a chance to win the Honey Bear stamp! I love that she has dedicated a whole blog to wood mounted stamps!

The Honey Bear is a part of a food set KP designed -  super cute!
